Leadership from local funding organizations discuss the funding process in a session moderated by Kevin Clark.
With Seattle's Office of Arts & Culture, Irene Gomez manages funding opportunities and support that advance careers for individual and historically underrepresented artists in Seattle. She has founded and co-founded numerous cultural arts organizations and volunteers on several boards and committees. As a creative instigator committed to race-equity efforts, she continues launching civically-engaged creative ventures that reinforce and share Latinx culture and traditions. Film, travel, friends, family and being parent of an emerging artist balance interests outside of work.
Charlie Rathbun is the Arts Program Manager at 4Culture and oversees annual funding programs for King County based arts organizations, local arts commissions, groups and individuals, and the Site Specific Program.
Kevin Clark is a philanthropy consultant, composer, and software product manager. He served as the Director of Platform at New Music USA, where he led the creation of their project platform. Other clients have included national grantmakers, family foundations, and tech startups.
